1981 Documented reliquary theca with relics of St. Claudine Thévenet (Marie of Saint Ignatius)

Small round glass-fronted white-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex capsa mortuaria  (of the bodily dust found in the coffin) pre-canonization relic of St. Claudine Thévenet. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Claudina Thévenet (Blessed Claudina Thévenet) On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a paper seal bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual (OFM Conv). The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued on October 4, 1981 (the day of her beatification)  by the Postulator General of the Order.

Blessed Claudine Thévenet, R.J.M. (†1837), known by her religious name Marie of Saint Ignatius, was a French Catholic nun and the founder of the Religious of Jesus and Mary. Thévenet witnessed the horrors of the French Revolution – she saw two of her brothers executed – and went on to cater to the needs of children while using her congregation to provide local girls with religious education. She was beatified on 4 October 1981 and was later canonized as a saint on 21 March 1993.
