1962 Documented reliquary theca with relic of St. Francesco Maria da Camporosso, O.F.M. Cap.

Round glass-fronted white-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus (of a bone) relic of Saint Francesco Maria da Camporosso. A relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as S. Franc. Camp. (Saint Francesco Maria da Camporosso).  On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Minor. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and sealed by the order of the Postulator General of the Orderin 1962.

Saint Francesco Maria da Camporosso (†1866) was an Italian Roman Catholic professed religious from the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin who became a beggar in Genoa where he sought alms from people and was at first heckled and assaulted before his reputation for personal holiness spread which prompted people to come and see him. The cause for his sainthood commenced on 9 August 1896 under Pope Leo XIII while Pope Pius XI titled him as Venerable on 18 December 1922 and later beatified him on 30 June 1929. Pope John XXIII canonized him as a saint on 9 December 1962 inside Saint Peter's Basilica.
