1988 Documented reliquary theca with relics of the Blessed Giuseppe Nascimbeni, founder of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family

Large round white-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing a substantial first-class ex ossibus  (of the bone) relic of the Blessed Giuseppe Nascimbeni. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as ex oss. / B.G. Nascimbeni (from the bone of Blessed Giuseppe Nascimbeni). On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Postulator General of the Orders of Friars Minor (better known as the Franciscans) responsible for the cause of canonization. The relic comes in the original case of the issue and is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and sealed by the Postulator General responsible for the cause of canonization issued on the day of the beatification - 17 April 1988.

Blessed Giuseppe Nascimbeni (†1922) was an Italian Roman Catholic priest who exercised his pastoral mission in his home of Verona and who also established the Little Sisters of the Holy Family. Pope John Paul II beatified him in 1988 on account of his holiness and a miracle attributed to his intercession; his feast is celebrated on 22 January, on the date of his death or "dies natalis" (birth into Heaven).
