1989 documented reliquary theca with relics of Redemptorist St. Clement Hofbauer, the Apostle of Vienna

Round glass-fronted yellow-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus (of the body) relic of Saint Clemente Hofbauer. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as S. Clem. Hofb. C. (Saint Clemente Hofbauer, Confessor). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (commonly known as the Redemptorist Order). The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued on 3 October 1989 by the Postulator General of the Order.

Saint Clement Mary Hofbauer CSsR (German: Klemens Maria Hofbauer) (†1820) was a Moravian hermit and later a priest of the Redemptorist congregation. He established the presence of his congregation, founded in Italy, north of the Alps, for which he is considered a co-founder of the congregation. He was known for his lifelong dedication to caring for the poor during a tumultuous period of Europe's history, which left thousands destitute. He worked to care for the Polish people until he was expelled from there and moved to Austria. Hofbauer has been declared a saint by the Catholic Church. Due to his extensive service in that city, he is called the Apostle of Vienna, of which he is a co-patron saint.
