1988 Documented reliquary theca with relics of the Blessed Francesco Faà di Bruno, founder of the Minim Sisters of St. Zita

Round glass-fronted white-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus  (of the bone) relic of the Blessed Francesco Faà di Bruno. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. F. Faà di Bruno (the Blessed Fancesco Faà di Bruno). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Minim Sisters of St. Zita, the Order that he founded. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued on 25 September 1988 (on the very day of his beatification) by the Postulator General of the Order.

Blessed Francesco Faà di Bruno (†1888) was an Italian priest and advocate of the poor, a leading mathematician of his era, and a noted religious musician. He founded the Minim Sisters of St. Zita in 1881 to provide help for maids and domestic servants, later expanding its outreach to include others, such as unmarried mothers. With their help, he also established another refuge, one dedicated to taking in prostitutes. He was beatified on 25 September 1988 by Pope John Paul II.
