2003 Documented theca with relics of the Blessed Juana Maria Condesa Lluch, founder of the Handmaids of Mary Immaculate

Round glass-fronted yellow-metal reliquary theca housing the first-class ex ossibus  (of the bone) relic of the Blessed Juana Maria Condesa Lluch. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. M. Juana M. Condesa Lluch (Blessed Juana Maria Condesa Lluch).  On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of the Franciscan Handmaids of Mary Immaculate. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued on 23 March 2003 (the day of her beatification) by the Postulator General responsible for the cause of beatification and canonization.

Blessed Juana María Condesa Lluch (†1916) was a Spanish Roman Catholic professed religious who established the Handmaids of Mary Immaculate in her hometown of Valencia. Lluch dedicated her life to the promotion of the rights of workers ever since her childhood when she first witnessed the terrible conditions of laborers. Pope John Paul II presided over her beatification in Saint Peter's Square on 23 March 2003.
